FSLIC Resolution Fund
a fund established by the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989 (FIRREA) to assume all the assets and liabilities of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation (FSLIC), which FIRREA abolished. The FSLIC Resolution Fund is managed by the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). FIRREA required the fund to be dissolved upon the satisfaction of all FSLIC debt and liabilities and the sale of all FSLIC assets assumed by the fund.
